We made it to the other side of the storm of a generation. Yay! But the actual reason I’m excited is that most of my veggie garden seeds came. It’s one of my favorite times of year.

Happy late fall! Hope you either survived Black Friday or hid comfortably from it. Hope you had a warm Thanksgiving, with much to be thankful for.

It’s fall allergy time. Ragweed is a major culprit for many. Goldenrod is not ragweed.
August Market Day
The farmer’s market was so colorful yesterday! Saturday markets are wonderfully social, as well. The crisp, fresh air of the season makes it even better.
Market Day
The bees were easy on me. They are late risers, like myself, so I didn’t have to get up before the crack of dawn to tend their hives. Quail have ensured that starting a year ago, I would become a morning person, if only in presence. And market day, happily, has sided with the birds.
Fuel
Gas prices are crazy high, and it’s only going to get worse. Best to hunker down or walk. It’s a small inconvenience compared to what other parts of the world are going through.
