A Flu Season Plea

Flu season is perma cringe season. Being in any public space is like wandering through a zombie apocalypse. Coughs and sneezes are all around, and there is a lack of the use of hygiene (and courtesy!) basics.

Echinacea

I can’t get enough of this beautiful flower. And I’ve noticed at least four different kinds of bees going between this and the sage, so, winning!

Ghostly Orb

During our first haunted adventure of the year, my husband captured a ghostly orb on his cell phone camera. Our daughter helped to confirm it was, indeed, an otherworldly orb. Image and sound file included.

Bird Watching

Spring is great for bird watching, in Minnesota. Sibley State Park, in New London, offers a variety of settings in which to watch wildlife. On my latest visit to the park, red winged blackbirds ruled the reeds.
