The newest thirty quail chicks are a week old, healthy, and starting to get some more defined colors. They are at the scratchy, pokey feather stage. The two roosters and their respective varieties of hens produced some gorgeous chicks.
Today, they graduated to actual feeders and pine shavings. They are doing an awful lot of “sun bathing” now, as they can snuggle into the shavings.
