The stronger of my two hives has already started building in the bottom box, which I added less than a week ago. Daily orientation flights look like this. This is a new package as of May, and either it’s going to be a very tall beehive by fall, or they’ll surprise me by swarming. I really, really hope the latter doesn’t happen. There ought to be good enough numbers to gather enough resources for winter. Sure wish my weaker hive was even close to being this busy.
